You're standing at the Plaza de Toros of Ronda, the bullring on the western edge of town. Just a couple of blocks away is the Puente Nuevo, the bridge over the deep El Tajo gorge. Start with the main entrance. There are two Tuscan columns, and above them the royal coat of arms of Spain, framed in baroque scrollwork. Higher up is a wrought iron balcony. The gateway is big enough for horses and carriages to ride straight through.
