Daorson in Town of Stolac

You're standing at Daorson, high above the little village of Ošanići, near Stolac. More than two thousand years ago this was the capital of the Daorsi, an Illyrian tribe from the Neretva valley. Take a look at those huge stone blocks around you. They're cyclopean walls, just like the ones at Mycenae in Greece. Big enough to make you wonder how anyone ever moved them.
