Stećak necropolis Radimlja in Town of Stolac

You're standing at Radimlja, a medieval cemetery right beside the road from Čapljina to Stolac, about three kilometres outside town. Look around at those heavy grey stone blocks in the grass. They're called stećci, medieval tombstones found only in this part of the world. There are a hundred and thirty-three of them here, and together they're part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
