You're standing at the Princessehof on Grote Kerkstraat in Leeuwarden. It looks like a grand townhouse, but it's really a small city palace from 1693. Now look at the building next door. That's a stins, an old fortified house whose remains may go back to the fifteenth century. The museum uses both.
