Museum Bezoekerscentruim Uniastate in Leeuwarden

You're standing at the Uniastate, on the west side of the village of Beers. Take a look at the site. A double moat surrounds a roughly rectangular island. On the northeast corner stands an old gatehouse. And in the southeast you'll see something strange: a steel frame the size of a house. It's a full-scale replica of the manor that once stood here, designed in 1998 by the Frisian artist Beb Mulder. A kind of mirage of the vanished house.
