You're standing on Via dell'Archiginnasio, at number 2. This is the home of Bologna's Civic Archaeological Museum, in a building from the fifteenth century. It's called Palazzo Galvani, but its old name is far more dramatic: the Hospital of Death. A rather gloomy title for a place where you come to discover how people lived thousands of years ago.
