La Pedriza in Manzanares el Real

You're standing at La Pedriza, a wild granite landscape on the southern slopes of the Guadarrama mountains. Have a look around. Huge boulders lie everywhere, worn smooth and sometimes into the strangest shapes. Geological forces have been eroding this granite for ages. It's one of the largest granite ranges in Europe, full of peaks, sheer cliffs, streams and little meadows.
