You're standing at the Bolwerksmolen in Deventer, on the west bank of the river IJssel, close to the Wilhelmina Bridge. Look up at that wooden, eight-sided windmill. It isn't a corn mill but a sawmill. Here, tree trunks were sawn into planks by wind power.
