You're standing at Newgrange, the most famous prehistoric site in Ireland. In front of you is a huge round mound, covered in grass, on a rise above the River Boyne. This isn't a natural hill. People built it more than five thousand years ago, from layers of earth and stone. That makes it older than Stonehenge and older than the pyramids of Egypt.
