You're standing at Dowth, a huge burial mound close to the River Boyne. Together with Newgrange and Knowth, it's one of the three great tombs of Brú na Bóinne, a World Heritage Site. The mound is about eighty-five metres across and fifteen metres high. It's probably about as old as its neighbours, which were built around 3200 BC.
