You're standing at Villa Aldobrandini, high above the little town of Frascati. First, turn around for a moment. See how the long avenue runs straight down into town? It carries on as Viale Catone and points right at the cathedral. The villa and the church were deliberately lined up. Further off, the valley stretches toward Rome. That view is why the villa is also called Belvedere.
