You're standing at the Museum of Fine Arts, which the people of Ghent simply call the MSK. It's one of the oldest museums in Belgium. Take a look at the building. Architect Charles van Rysselberghe designed it as a proper temple of art, in neoclassical style, while giving the inside a great sense of openness and space. It went up between 1900 and 1904, right here on the edge of the Citadelpark.
