Story · Beethoven House

You're standing on Bonngasse, in front of the house where Ludwig van Beethoven was born. Take a look at the façade. That baroque stone front dates from around 1700, built on top of an even older cellar. It's one of the few middle-class houses left in Bonn from the days of the prince electors. Back then this street was popular with people who worked at court, right between the palace, the market square and the Rhine.
