You're standing in Balzers, the southernmost municipality in Liechtenstein, at the foot of Gutenberg Castle. Have a look up. The castle sits on a free-standing rock seventy metres high, right in the middle of the village. Liechtenstein has five castles, and this is one of only two that survive intact. Unlike Vaduz Castle, nobody from the princely family lives here.
