Church of San Cataldo in Palermo

You're standing on Piazza Bellini, right in the centre of Palermo, at the Church of San Cataldo. Look for the three red domes on the roof. They bulge like little balloons and look more like they belong on a mosque than on a church. That's exactly what makes this place special. It's a textbook example of Arab-Norman architecture, a style you'll only find in Sicily.
