St. Michael's Church in Hildesheim

You're standing at St Michael's Church in Hildesheim, on a small hill at the western edge of the city centre. Have a look at its outline. This church doesn't have one choir, it has two, one at each end. A square tower rises over each crossing, and there are four more tall, slender towers besides. This is what a church looks like when it's around a thousand years old.
