You're standing at the Bodmer Foundation in Cologny, a quiet village just outside Geneva. From the street you'll see two stately houses in neo-baroque style. They look like elegant villas, but they were built to hold a treasure trove of books and manuscripts. Collector Martin Bodmer had them put up in 1951, specifically for his collection.
