You're standing at Llansteffan Castle, or Castell Llansteffan, as it's called in Welsh. First, take a look around. From this hill you can see the mouth of the River Towy, right where it flows into Carmarthen Bay. Anyone standing here could watch every boat coming in. No wonder people have valued this spot for thousands of years.
