You're standing at the Bornholm Art Museum, about six kilometres from the little fishing town of Gudhjem. Have a look around. The museum sits high above the Helligdomsklipperne, the Sanctuary Rocks, and the land drops away quite steeply towards the sea. The architects, Fogh & Følner, made the most of that. The building follows the slope and is split over three levels, each one stepping a little closer to the water.
