You're standing at Schloss Weißenstein, in the small Franconian village of Pommersfelden. A grand Baroque palace in a place this size is quite a surprise. It was built as a summer retreat for Lothar Franz von Schönborn, Prince-Bishop of Bamberg and Archbishop of Mainz. And it still belongs to the Schönborn family today.
