You're standing in the Trigrad Gorge, deep in the Rhodope Mountains in southern Bulgaria. Take a look around, and then look up. Sheer walls rise on either side of you, and they're made of marble. The west wall reaches about three hundred metres. The east wall goes even higher, up to roughly three hundred and fifty. That's taller than most skyscrapers.
