You're standing at Bodø Cathedral, the Lutheran cathedral of the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland, way up in northern Norway. Start with the tower. It stands on its own, apart from the church, thirty-six metres tall, with three bells inside. Each bell carries a line from the Gospels. The church itself is made of concrete, built as a long basilica. Clean and plain, nothing like the church that once stood here.
