The Flintenroute is a circular ride of just over 45 km in the municipality of Borger-Odoorn in Drenthe. You cycle through Borger, Ees, Odoorn, Valthe, Exloo, Bronneger and Drouwen, through the Exloo forest, the Hunzebos and the Drouwenerveld, and partly through Drentsche Aa National Park. On the way you pass nine hunebeds (megalithic tombs), five of them near Bronneger. More than two thirds is cycle path and almost all of it is asphalt or paved.
