You're standing at Villa Barbaro in Maser, in the Veneto. The Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio built it for two Venetian brothers, Daniele and Marcantonio Barbaro. Daniele was Patriarch of Aquileia and ambassador to Queen Elizabeth I of England. Marcantonio served as ambassador to the King of France. Historians don't agree on the exact building dates, but around 1560 the work was well under way.
