Hrad Bouzov

You're standing at Bouzov Castle, on a hill above the village of the same name in Moravia. Start with that one tall tower in the middle. It's fifty-eight metres high and eight storeys tall. Around it, the buildings curve in a horseshoe, packed with turrets, battlements, oriel windows and loopholes. It looks like something out of a fairy tale, and filmmakers agree. Productions such as Arabela and Fantaghirò were shot here.
