You're standing at the İsa Bey Mosque in Selçuk, on the edge of the Ayasluğ Hills. It was built in 1374 and 1375, and it's one of the oldest and most impressive buildings left from the age of the Anatolian beyliks, the small principalities that ruled here. It was built in honour of İsa Bey, a ruler from the Aydinid dynasty.
