You're standing at the Tamme-Lauri oak, the oldest and thickest tree in Estonia. Take a moment to really look at it. The oak is seventeen metres tall, and at chest height the trunk measures more than eight metres around. Researchers think it was planted around 1326. So this tree has been around for roughly seven hundred years.
