You're standing at Château d'Yquem, in the wine village of Sauternes, south of Bordeaux. This is one of the most famous wine estates on the planet, and it's all about sweet white wine. Take a look at the vines around you. About a hundred hectares are in production, mostly Sémillon with a smaller share of Sauvignon Blanc.
