You're standing at the Aqüeducte de les Ferreres, a Roman water bridge about four kilometres north of Tarragona. Locally it mostly goes by another name: the Pont del Diable, the Devil's Bridge. Take a good look at the arches. There are two rows, one on top of the other. Eleven at the bottom, twenty-five at the top. Together they carried water high across the valley.
