You're standing at the monastery of Hosios Loukas, on the slopes of Mount Helicon. Look out over the green valley. Legend says that's where Oedipus accidentally killed his father, Laius. The monastery is one of the most important Byzantine buildings in Greece, and it has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1990.
