Archaeological site Levedos in Seferihisar

You're standing at Lebedos, or rather, at what's left of it. This ancient Greek city sat on and around the little peninsula now called Kısık, right by the seaside town of Ürkmez. Take a look at that headland. It's less than two hundred metres long and just over sixty metres high, joined to the mainland by a narrow neck about two hundred metres wide. On that tiny patch of land stood one of the twelve cities of the Ionian League.
