Antigonea Archaeological Park in Bashkia Gjirokastër

You're standing on the hill of Antigonia, an ancient Greek city high above the Drino valley. You're about six hundred metres above sea level here. Take a look around. From this almost impregnable hill, the city kept watch over the routes through the mountains and down to the sea. The whole area is now a National Archaeological Park.
