You're standing at the Ochtinská Aragonite Cave, in southern Slovakia, not far from Rožňava. In Hungarian it's called Martonházi-aragonitbarlang. From out here there isn't much to see, but beneath your feet lies one of the most remarkable caves in Europe. The landscape around you is part of the Slovak Karst, a region full of caves. Together with the caves of Hungary's Aggtelek, they've been on UNESCO's World Heritage list since 1985.
