Palacio Real de Olite in Olite / Erriberri

You're standing at the Royal Palace of Olite, in the Spanish region of Navarre. Start by looking at that skyline of towers. Square ones, round ones, even an octagonal one, all topped with pointed slate roofs. It looks like a fairytale castle, but it was really a palace. From the reign of King Charles III, known as the Noble, this was home to the court of the Kingdom of Navarre, until Castile conquered it in 1512.
