ARoS Art Museum in Aarhus

You're standing at ARoS, the art museum of Aarhus and one of the largest art museums in Northern Europe. Start with the building itself: a bright white block, ten storeys tall. Now look all the way up. On the roof sits a ring of coloured glass in every shade of the rainbow. That's Your rainbow panorama, an artwork by Ólafur Elíasson that opened in 2011. It's a circular walkway, and depending on where you stand, the city below takes on a different colour.
