You're standing at Fingal's Cave, a sea cave on the uninhabited island of Staffa, in Scotland's Inner Hebrides. Look at the walls. They're made entirely of six-sided basalt columns, packed tightly together like a giant bundle of pencils. The entrance is a tall arch, and the sea flows right inside.
