You're standing on Punta da Estaca de Bares, in Galicia. This is the northernmost point of Spain, and of the whole Iberian Peninsula. On this landmass, you can't get any further north. Have a look around. The headland juts a long way out into the Cantabrian Sea, and that means it catches a lot of weather. It's one of the rainiest places in Europe, with more than 2,500 millimetres a year. So don't be surprised by a gust of wind or a passing shower.
