You're standing at Dietrichstein Palace on Zelný trh, right in the historic heart of Brno. This is the main seat of the Moravian Museum, the second-largest and second-oldest museum in the Czech Republic. Take a good look at the building first. It went up between 1613 and 1616 as the home of Cardinal Franz von Dietrichstein. Around 1700 it was rebuilt in late Baroque style, and it's been one of the biggest Baroque buildings in Brno ever since.
