You're standing at Alepotrypa Cave, on the Mani Peninsula in the south of the Peloponnese. The name means something like 'the fox's hole'. Take a look around. It's a dry, rocky landscape, with the Mediterranean right there. The cave sits only about twenty meters above sea level and roughly fifty meters from the shore. It's one of the caves of Pyrgos Dirou.
