You're standing at St. Elizabeth's Church in Marburg, one of the very first purely Gothic churches in Germany. Start by looking up at the two towers. They rise roughly eighty metres. The northern one is topped by a star, the southern one by a knight. That knight is no accident. The church was built by the Teutonic Order, an order of knights and clergy.
