You're standing at Notre-Dame of Noyon, one of the very first Gothic cathedrals in France. Start with the west front. There's a porch from the fourteenth century and two towers that were never finished. The carvings around the entrance are damaged. That happened during the French Revolution, and they've been left that way ever since. Two sculptures from this façade have even ended up in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
