You're standing at the Glenfinnan Viaduct, in the Scottish Highlands. Take a look at that long sweep across the valley. Twenty-one semicircular arches, about 380 metres in all. At its highest, the track runs thirty metres above the River Finnan. Notice how the whole thing curves? That's what makes it such a beautiful sight. From up on the viaduct you look out over Loch Shiel and the Glenfinnan Monument by the water.
