Holkham Hall in North Norfolk

You're standing at Holkham Hall, a vast country house close to the north Norfolk coast. Take a good look at the front. You won't find much decoration. Clean lines, few windows and an awful lot of yellow brick. Those bricks were made especially for this house, as copies of ancient Roman bricks. Not everyone loved the result. One writer said that at first sight it looked like a Prussian riding school.
