You're standing at the Cave of La Pasiega, on the slope of Monte Castillo near Puente Viesgo. Take a look around. Below you lies the valley of the river Pas. This one hill hides several caves full of prehistoric art, including El Castillo, Las Monedas and Las Chimeneas. Since 2008 they've been on UNESCO's World Heritage List, together with Altamira and other caves in northern Spain.
