You're standing at El Capricho, a summer villa on the edge of Comillas. The name means something like 'whim' or 'fancy', and one look tells you why. This is an early work by Antoni Gaudí, built between 1883 and 1885. He designed very few buildings outside Catalonia, so this is a rare bit of Gaudí.
