You're standing at Červený Kameň Castle, in the Little Carpathians right by the village of Častá, in southwestern Slovakia. Take a moment with that name. Červený Kameň means red stone. German speakers once called it Rotenstein, and later Bibersburg, while in Hungarian it's Vöröskő vára. One castle, a whole collection of names. That alone tells you how many peoples and lords have passed through here.
