Leuchtturm Westerheversand

You're standing at the Westerheversand Lighthouse, on the northern tip of the Eiderstedt peninsula, on Germany's North Sea coast. Take a good look at those stripes. Three red bands with two white ones in between, on a white base. Does it look familiar? It might. This is one of the best-known lighthouses in northern Germany, and it turns up on postcards and posters everywhere.
