Oude Kwaremont in Kluisbergen

You're standing on the Oude Kwaremont, the Old Kwaremont, in Kluisbergen, deep in the Flemish Ardennes. Take a look at the road under your feet. This is no ordinary street. It's one of the most famous cobbled climbs in cycling. Strictly speaking it isn't a hill at all, but a road, one of the cobbled routes leading up the Kluisberg. West of the top lies the Knokteberg, and to the east the higher Hotondberg.
