You're standing at Orléans Cathedral, the Sainte-Croix, dedicated to the Holy Cross. Start with the west front. There are three richly carved portals, rose windows and two matching towers, each 88 metres tall. The spire over the middle of the church climbs even higher, to 114 metres. Take a closer look at the portals. Among the Bible scenes and saints, you'll spot references to Joan of Arc.
