Lake Hornborga in Falköping

You're standing on the shore of Lake Hornborga, Hornborgasjön in Swedish, in the province of Västergötland, about fifteen kilometres southeast of the town of Skara. Take a look across the water. The lake is big, around twenty-eight square kilometres, yet it's no more than two metres deep anywhere. Think of it as one huge, shallow pool.
